Joey Benton, Greenbrier, Arkansas, was installed as the 2010-2011 president of the Arkansas Land Title
Association (ARLTA) on June 5, 2010, at the annual convention in Branson, Missouri. Joey is a vice-president of Ozark Title Services, Inc. And, Joey serves as the president and manager of Ozark Abstract Company (Harrison and Jasper). ARLTA is a professional association formed in 1908 to promote the integrity of land titles throughout the State of Arkansas. Its members include Abstractors, Title Insurance Agents, Title Insurance Underwriters, Attorneys and others involved in the production and evaluation of real estate title information, issuance of title insurance and escrow closing services in the State of Arkansas. Joey's vast experience in the title insurance and escrow business will be a great benefit for his leadership of ARLTA for the upcoming year.

Leon Nicholson, Greers Ferry, Arkansas, has been re-appointed to the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee and to the Task Force on Unauthorized Practice of Law of the Arkansas Bar Association by President Jim L. Julian of Little Rock. The re-appointment become effective during the Association's 2010 Annual Meeting in Hot Springs in June.
The Arkansas Bar Association is a voluntary, statewide Association with more than 5,000 attorney members. The Association an its members participate in a variety of programs and services for the legal profession and society. Among the purposes of the Association are advancing the administration of justice in Arkansas and fostering high ideals of intergrity, learning and public service among its members. The Arkansas Bar Association was founded in 1898.

DALLAS, TEXAS APRIL 28, 2010
In order to stay on the cuttng edge of customer service, Ozark Title's Leon Nicholson attended the marketing seminar of Chris Ripley in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. The seminar covered a broad range of ideas and ways to better communicate with and serve a title company's customers. The seminar also trained the attendees on ways to best utilize social media (FaceBook, Twitter, Linked In) to nuture and advance the relationship of a title company with its customers.

Leon Nicholson has been elected to serve on the Vestry of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Heber Springs,
Arkansas. The Vestry is a govering board consisting of twelve members of the church. St. Francis is a part of the Arkansas Diocese of the Episcopal Church of the USA. St. Francis offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for anyone interested in worshiping in the Anglican tradition. Leon and his family have been regular attendees at St. Francis for many years.

BAPTIST HEALTH FOUNDATION - CLEBURNE COUNTY
Leon Nicholson, Greers Ferry, Arkansas, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Baptist Health Foundation - Cleburne County. Baptist Health Foundation - Cleburne County is a nonprofit corporation which conducts fund raising activities to help support the needs of the Baptist Health Medical Center - Heber Springs. Baptist Health Medical Center - Heber Springs moved into a new 60,000 square foot facility in June, 2007, and is dedicated to providing quality health care for the citizens of Cleburne County and the surrounding areas. Nicholson is the president and in-house legal counsel for Ozark Title Services, Inc., which has offices in Greers Ferry and Clinton, Arkansas.
